Commissioning a painting is a magical process. Together we’ll go on a wonderful journey to create a custom work of art designed to connect you to a moment, a place, a person or a thing that stirs your soul. The images, colors, and stones, we choose will help reinforce that connection. When your heart is in this expansive place you are aligned with your true nature. This is a place of ease and joy. Your painting can act as a reset point whenever you get distracted by the goings on of the day. Through meditation, gratitude and your playlist* I embrace your energy and create a beautiful gift in service to your happiness.
We will start with a studio visit either in person or on a video chat. I will show you some of the tools I use and share more about my process. I will ask you a list of questions I have developed to gain a deep understanding of what will serve your highest good including but not limited to:
• Your ideas for your painting
• Things that make you happiest
• Colors that you love and colors you resist
• Things that you would like to manifest in your life
• Your favorite uplifting music*
• What resonates with you spiritually
• Your preferred size and proportions
• Your budget
• If you are unclear about your choice of subject matter I will walk you through an additional process to help us reveal the perfect image for your painting
PROCESS AND PAYMENTS
When you decide to move forward with the commission process I will create an Artist Agreement Contract for your approval detailing everything we have discussed.
When the Contract is to your liking you will sign it and return it with a 50% non refundable deposit.
Expect the finished painting to take approximately 8 to 12 weeks. The timeline will depend on the scale and complexity of your painting.
You will receive two loose color sketches for approval of concept after the first payment is received. Two hours of revisions are included. Further revisions will require additional fees.
You will have an opportunity to visit the studio to see the progress. If a studio visit can’t be arranged you will receive a video and pictures of the progress.
Together we choose words that resonate with you when you think about how you want to feel. I paint them into the first layer of your painting. Sometimes you can see them in the finished piece.
COMPLETION AND DELIVERY
The second 50% payment will be due before any final revisions are executed.
All changes that are verbally agreed upon and any additional fees discussed will also be submitted in writing.
The finished painting will be wired for hanging. Installation can be arranged for an additional fee.
Framing options are available for an additional fee.
Custom crating and delivery fees will be billed separately.
International shipping is available and will require additional delivery fees and hefty taxes.
